Regional Management Groups (RMG) are formed by local member companies that believe there is a need to have a local presence to address regional issues. Networking opportunities is a functional role of the RMGs as is dealing with local political figures, the state and territory bureaucracies and of course local councils.
RMGs are our members' first point of contact. They are also the grass roots of the volunteer effort of our companies who worked togetehr to solve problems, create new opportunities and network with each other. The RMG structure is a good place to gain experience in working with the wider spatial industry so is a good place for young up-and-coming staff to gain valuable experience.
